«Efforts désespérés à Fukushima» (Le Monde, 17 mars 2011) © by quapan

Our lives have changed since 3/11. We shouldn’t compare Tokyo to Tohoku areas affected by tsunami, but we are facing another fear, radiation. As time passes by, we hear more news on radiation/radioactivity through media, especially from social media but there’s too much information.

Here are some sites I find useful for including English speakers living in Japan.

  1. Tokyo Radiation Levels, English community for discussing radiation matters.
  2. atmc.jp, real time radiation measures plus various useful resources on internal/external exposures.
  3. SafeCast, measuring radiation levels by driving around Kanto and Tohoku areas and more.
  4. #okfood results on Topsy, listing radioactivity safety food (manufactures).
  5. quaketools, resources on 3/11 quakes and radiation by @1rick
