I just received this invitation on CSR discussion group on Yahoo Groups. I’m pasting the invitation message for reference.

This is a forum that has emerged out of the need for creating more socially responsible organizations across Bangladesh and the globe.

The members of the forum bring in a rich context specific applied and theoretical knowledge in the field. They are inclined to have the understanding of how partnerships are structed and evolved in the discipline of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and related knowledge area.

The members of the forum will be ideally professionals and organizations with strong associations with partnering initiatives, bringing in cross sectoral understanding.

The forum will also work as a conduit for information exchange, knowledge sharing, discussion on applied research in the field; members to the forum are encouraged to offer methodology and tools to address various partnering initiatives and case studies that worked and also shed light on the process followed.

Finally, this forum can be an healthy domain that may catapult partnering initiatives by forming long standing partnerships that may eventually build on sustainable partnership outputs and social equity across a cross-section of enterprises.
